Mediesekretariatet (Radio and Television Board)
The Radio and Television Board is the independent authority in a range of media matters, including Radio and TV advertising. The Board has seven members, who must have expertise in the legal, media, business and cultural fields. Board members are appointed by the Minister of Culture for four years. The decisions of the Board can not be appealed to the Ministry.
Forbrugerstyrelsen/Forbrugerombudsmanden (Consumer Council and Ombudsman)
A state agency whose task is to help the general public with consumer affairs. The Consumer Ombudsman represents consumer interests in relations to businesses, and pursues legal action in the consumer interest.

Reklame Forum (Advertising Forum)
The Advertising Forum was established by representatives of the Danish advertising tripartite. It is set up and funded by the advertising industry to apply code and rules regulating advertising content. The SRO receives complaints for investigation, and in case the complaint is upheld, the advertiser will be requested to withdraw or amend the advertisement.
The Advertising Forum is a member of EASA (European Advertising Standards Alliance)
The Advertisers Association hosts the secretariat for the Advertising Forum.
