With online advertising seemingly impervious to the economic downturn, sessions will examine the outlook for 2013 and beyond, including the potential for advertisers to exploit the capabilities of smartphones using location-based messages, QR codes and ad-supported apps, future options for developing social networks as ad platforms, as well as the reputation monitoring and brand management strategies being employed on interactive platforms.

Delegates will assess EU policy, UK regulation and industry initiatives aimed at ensuring standards of e-Privacy and data protection standards in online advertising, as well as how the recommendations of last year’s Bailey Review into the commercialisation of childhood will affect the digital marketing industry, and further regulatory challenges for advertisers.
