Profile

Prof. Morcellini is the Dean of the Communication Sciences Faculty, Full Professor of Sociology of Communication at the “ Università La Sapienza”, Rome.He is also Director of the Postgraduate Course in Communication Sciences.
He is a member of the Technical-scientific Committee in the project “Tutela dei minori” (Children protection) of ’Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni’ (Italian Communication Authority).
In the last few years his research works focused on socialization and media in order to analyse media influence on identity, cultural industry and television in Italy.
